Mario Asaro, SIOR

Mario Asaro assumed the role of President at Industry One Realty in 2009, spearheading its remarkable growth, which saw the firm expand threefold under his stewardship. In 2012 Mario was honored with the esteemed SIOR Designation and became Chapter President in 2023. Mario serves on the Board of CIBS, as well as the Board of HIA-LI.

He has been Recognized for his expertise and achievements and prominently featured in numerous articles in Long Island Business News, gracing the publication's cover on several occasions. He has earned placement in the Who's Who in Commercial Real Estate Many Times, Among his accolades are the prestigious CoStar Power Broker Award and as well as the LIBN Lightning Strikes Award. Mario was the procuring broker for the Largest lease deal in 2024 in the Hauppauge Industrial Park.

He has also been referred by many in the industry for being “Mr Farmingdale” by making over 163 CRE transactions inside the Farmingdale Industry Park alone.

Mario is a graduate in Business Management from St John's University, Mario's entrepreneurial journey commenced early, working in his father's restaurant from the age of 12, then owning his own restaurant by 21. At 30 he sold his restaurant and started Commercial Real Estate and quickly became a force in the Industry, Winning the First Rising Star Award ever given by CIBS in 2005.

Notably, Mario's professional focus has often revolved around representing property owners across Long Island, facilitating sales and leases to maximize their assets' value. Moreover, he has been instrumental in assisting companies of various sizes in identifying optimal properties to meet their current and future needs.
